The Kenya Society of Engineers (KSE) is the professional organization that regulates the activities of all Engineers in Kenya. It was established in 1978 by the laws of Kenya under CAP 531. Since then, KSE has been dedicated to developing and regulating the engineering profession in Kenya, which upholds the public interest and enhances its contribution and that of its members to national economic growth and development.

The Statements of Membership Obligations form the basis of the KSEMember Compliance Program. They serve as a framework for credible and high-quality professional engineering organizations focused on serving the public interest by adopting, or otherwise incorporating, and supporting the implementation of international standards and maintaining adequate enforcement mechanisms to ensure the professional behavior of their individual members.
